《 Red Apricot on the Wall 》
"Red
Apricot on the Wall" is often used to describe women who cheated, you may
ask why a photography exhibition using this name? You may not know, these works
also means ‘there is a reason’ and ‘eager to communicate’. Photography entered
China in 1842 and gradually became an independent art style. But due to some
objective factors, Chinese Contemporary Photography is in an awkward position
in the development process of Chinese art, facing numerous disputes and
difficulties. It is gratifying that, there are still a lot of enthusiastic
artists creating outstanding works, today, they want take this opportunity to
communicate with you. No lights, no decoration, these works just present here
in the simplest and most honest way, looking forward to meeting you.
The works exhibited here are from 14
artists that selected by the three judges (President of the Royal Academy of
Fine Arts in Brussels, Mr. MarkPartouche, Brigitte Bauer, Professor of
Photography Department of Art College in Nimes, France, and Zhang Xiaotao, Head
Professor of New Media Art Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, China)
from 50 contributors.
Finally, we wish you can select your favorite artist and with your signature.
In the future, we will send the card as a precious gift to these artistes who
are currently in China and not be able to be present in this exhibition. In
addition, the artist who gets the most votes will receive the "Red apricot
